After sixteen hours of travel, the theater workshop ZINNOBER returned from their exchange “Shine a light on”. Nevertheless, time flew by, so much did the kids have to discuss. All the impressions of the exchange “Shine a light on” were to be discussed, to review again and again and suddenly you were back in Brixen and the “best four days of our lives” over.
For the first time we met at the Hollwind 2017 in Bressanone. For four days, we met our exchange partners in workshops and showed them the most beautiful spots around Bressanone. This year, the exchange continued, and the ZINNOBER theater workshop was on its way for the first time: to Wolverhampton, to our friends at the Central Youth Theater. We had four wonderful days of workshops, a boat ride with scones and clotted cream, a visit to the manorial estate of Wightwick Manor, trampolines and four wonderful performances. And all the while we were cared for, cared for and coddled by our English friends. So well did we feel that some of the vermilion girls just did not want to go back. “In a few years CYT will have a few more members,” was the unanimous opinion, and we at TPZ may need to think carefully about whether to continue sending our groups to such exchanges – eventually our ranks will probably become emptier and emptier.
In the meantime we came back to Bressanone with many new ideas and plans and you can be sure that you will hear more about the Central Youth Theater 😉
