2026 Best Foot Forward
Event enrolment is free for CYT members, under 16's and £8 for over 16's.
The Best Foot Forward Challenge.
Best Foot Forward is a community initiative, devised and organised by the Rotary Club of the City of Wolverhampton, which is staged annually on last Saturday in June at WV Active, Aldersley, in order to raise funds for charities.
CYT will cover the enrolment costs of any CYT members aged over 16. If your family/friends would like to join you in taking part, we ask that they pay their £8 enrolment fee to us via Central Youth Theatre's Local Giving Page
We ask that all who sign up endeavour to fund-raise above £15. Taking part will help us meet our fundraising target of at least £1000!
Remember you can turn up at Aldersley WV Active Stadium on Saturday 27th June anytime between 8am - 8pm to do as many or as few laps as you like. Collect sponsorship and ask people to donate via our https://localgiving.org/fundraising/CYTBFF2026
And remember that because CYT is one of Rotary's BFF BONUS charities this year, for every lap completed on the day, it releases additional funds £2 per lap up to a maximum of £500 for us,
The more laps we do the more money we raise! :)

ForeFront Theatre Company presents The Great Gatsby — as you’ve never seen it before.
This daring reimagining dives beneath the glittering surface of the Jazz Age to reveal the raw, beating heart of Fitzgerald’s iconic story. Performed by a cast of emerging local talent, the production asks timeless questions about love, obsession, and the cost of chasing the American Dream.
Told through a dynamic ensemble, the show blends the classic narrative and beloved characters with physical theatre and inventive staging. The performers themselves become the engine of the piece, creating an immersive, visceral experience that breathes new life into a story we all think we know.
Who is Gatsby, really? Can obsession — and love — destroy?
